Our very small committee is desperate for help, are there any keen members able to come on the committee.  We are very friendly

Dear members and friends

I was hoping that someone would help out with this new website, is anyone keen to have a go?  It is very easy to publish news.  Please send me any details of art interests, use the contact form below, which comes to me (Jo Richardson).

We recently took part in the Hampshire Open Studios, holding a very good exhibition at Weyhill Village hall over the weekend.  The standard of work was very pleasing and footfall was good.  But I think that most of the HOS exhibitions across the county struggled to sell  work.  This is a shame but there does seem to be a lot of work out there at the moment.

Our next exhibiton is booked for Stockbridge town hall in December, details to follow.

We have received this email from Winchester art group -

Posting a message from another local art club, I hope some of you may be keen.

Dear Club Secretary

We have a few places available on our forthcoming Saturday art courses which we would like to extend to your members who might be interested in attending.

We have two courses this month, the first on Saturday 14 September which is a Life Drawing class given by Tony Hunt followed by Lisa Steincke heading a Wildlife in charcoal course on Saturday 21 September.

Both courses kick off at 10am until 4pm and are held at Littleton Memorial Hall.

Full details for booking can be found on our website www.winart.org.uk or by emailing me.

Hope to see you soon.
